A quick shot with a pretend rain.I doubt if he was trying to copy clint. Now Santee is a different story.

How about Big Leo in a pancho in DAY OF THE TRACKERS with Sammy Davis Jr. and Ernie Borgnine. That left an impression.

To waer a flame fiesta fire engine red poncho means a man is crazy or the fastest gun alive because you can be spotted.Old jail bird leo the lion wore a subdued poncho five years earlier in Night of the Grizzly. He gave a quick almost or more to himself line in clint walkers film when talking about the grizz. He said "he killed my dogs".

Glenn later goes into a bar with the "red" poncho over his shoulder and passes by another person who is standing and watching a card game....and wearing a gray poncho.

Tom, speaking of Leo Gordon, do you guys remember the cool way Leo was introduced in TEN WANTED MEN, with Randy, Richard Boone, LVC and Skippy Homier? He is seen riding into town with his henchmen and he's sitting side saddle. What an entry!!?

I think the only other heavy who could have gotten away with that entrance would have been Lee Marvin. Not even Lee Van Cleef could have done it without a snicker from the audience.

Yep, Tom! I totally agree with you on that.

Speaking of ponchos.....isn't the worst of the worst Richard Boone in MADRON? The good news is....the dvd is out of print and sells for around $80 on Amazon.
